IT Systems Architect

About the Role

How you will contribute

• This role is an architecture technical specialist with technical expertise within Azure and Active Directory architecture.
• Lead the technical design, approval, and delivery of our On Premise and Azure infrastructure with a view of standardising core services.
• Develop and maintain an Azure Infrastructure, able to identify projects, build compelling business cases, and drive the consumption of cloud services.
• Build and maintain relationships with 3rd parties, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement to the business.
• Develop and lead Exchange and SharePoint site migrations (on-prem and cross tenant to Exchange and SharePoint Online), Identity & Security including the support of ongoing move of archaic systems into the cloud for more efficiency within the organisation, as part of our digital transformation. Transferring data and internal processes to cloud architecture.
• Define and drive systems strategies that align with overall IT and Business Strategies.
• Review ongoing systems capacity and support.

Your Key Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences as well as experience of working with board level stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies; Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Reverse and Web Forwarding Proxying, VMware, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Crowdstrike Falcon NGAV with EDR, Zscaler and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Azure Infrastructure solutions including IaaS, SaaS and PaaS based environments, and Azure based application management and governance.
• Experience leading large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure migration projects.
• Proficient with operating systems, identity access management and IT security gateways and protocols.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in equivalent role.
