Job Description Summary

Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots ordinary and basic office support systems.Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining office productivity enhancing tools.Working with end users to determine the types of hardware and software required for office systems; coordinating supplies and set-up.Participating in the evaluation, testing, and integration of new office products or functions.Providing support for end users of office systems and products.

Job Description

• Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.• Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.• Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.• Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.• Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software.• Configure servers to meet functional specifications.• Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures.• Design and conduct hardware or software tests.• Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.• Complete models and simulations, using manual or automated tools, to analyze or predict system performance under different operating conditions.• Develop efficient and effective system controllers.• All other duties as assigned.
