IT Systems Engineer- DNS/ AD (Remote)
Job Description
IT Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the DNS infrastructure.
What Will I Be Doing?
- Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, upgrades as the SME for DNS/DHCP environments
- Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations as well as lead projects.
- May participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises for DNS appliances and AD
- Performs on-call rotation and operational work
- Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures for AD/DNS infrastructure
- 4+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education. Experience Details: Demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
- Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
- Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
- Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
What is Preferred?
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Experience using Agile methodology
- Demonstrated knowledge/expertise with Bluecat appliances
- Experience/expertise with DNS/IPAM
- Well-rounded in Active Directory Domain Infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of DNS/ DHCP Protocol
- Knowledge of PKI/AD/GPO and other domain knowledge.
- Florida Blue or GuideWell experience
- Healthcare experience
General Physical Demands
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
