We are Mythical Games. A Venture-backed next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and economics led by industry veterans. Our goal is to lead the industry with the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage distributed ledger technology, while also providing a platform of robust tools that will allow any other game developers to do the same.
Our IT Help Desk team is looking for a talented and driven IT Systems Specialist to work with our awesome IT team that is distributed throughout the US. This role will work to create a reliable, performant and secure IT environment in which Mythical is built on. This position is remote with minimal travel required for team meetings.Â
 The right candidate for this job (is):
- Supports IT Staff and/or leads in various technology project planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance; supports staff technology needs.
- Operates with efficiency in problem resolution with both Windows & Mac platforms, and is familiar with Cloud products such as Google Workspace, Jira, Zoom, Slack, Endpoint Management, Antivirus, etc
- Enjoys new technological challenges and is motivated to solve them
- Smart, highly motivated, self-starter who thrives in a bottom-up, fast-paced, highly technical environment
- Effective collaborator, experienced in creating technical partnerships across teams
- An unwavering passion for meeting demands and delivering an epic customer service to our internal staff
This role requires experience in supporting end point devices, cloud SAAS products and hands-on technical skills. This position is expected to:
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and meet/exceed SLA’s
- Collaborate with various operations teams to support the company’s technology infrastructure
- Regularly review existing tools and processes for opportunities for service improvement, cost reduction, and increased security
- Owns and drives complex and highly complicated projects related to their area of focus
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the success of uptime-critical applications
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in support & troubleshooting multiple end-user platforms, software, and/or systems
- 4+ years experience in advanced user facing support position(s)
- 2+ years experience driving organization or region wide impact through programs and projects
- Effective business acumen and working knowledge of applications/business processes
- Experience in synthesizing business and technical needs across locations and drive solution delivery
- Knowledge of foundational responsibilities critical for achieving departmental goals
- Proven relationship skills that carry across the technical spectrum and multiple geographical locations
- Experience working with cross functional teams to design solutions for complex business needs
- Manage issue resolution including prioritization on time sensitive problems and escalations with corporate
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to support decision making
Pluses:
- Understanding the optimization of Support software such as JIRA
- Experience with enterprise endpoint software
- Understanding of Blockchain technologies
- Performed in a regulated environment and understands process and security implications
"The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.Pay Ranges by Tier:
US Tier 1: $80,000 - $90,000
US Tier 2: $72,000 - $81,000
US Tier 3: $64,000 - $72,000
Locations by Tier:
Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California
Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state
Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York state.The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future."
