IT Technical Writer / Systems Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA - local candidates only
Position Type: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week
Contract Length: 7 months, extension possible
Position Overview:
The IT Technical Writer / Systems Analyst will oversee project delivery while designing and conducting real-time and on-demand training programs. Candidate will need to have expertise in Microsoft Project, agile tools, and PMP certification preferred.
Duties:

• Lead and manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring using Microsoft Project and other tools.
• Design and deliver real-time training programs, and create high-quality on-demand training recordings for ongoing audience use.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective project communication and delivery of objectives.
• Track work items and support software development efforts using agile methodologies and tools, such as Team Foundation Server.
• Incorporate automated testing tools like Test Complete to enhance project quality and streamline development processes.

Required Skills:

• Must hold a PMP certification for a minimum of 5 years.
• 5 years of comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies related to information technology projects.
• 5 years of experience in portfolio management.
• 5 years of experience in professional written communication.
• 5 years of experience delivering professional presentations.
