We're looking for a collaborative problem-solver with excellent customer service skills and a detail-oriented mindset. In this role, you'll be pivotal in providing both onsite and remote IT support, ensuring our clients receive top-notch technical assistance. You'll handle a range of tasks, from system updates to hands-on troubleshooting, playing a critical role in maintaining our high standards of IT service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offer onsite IT support to clients in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
- Support Windows/Mac OS, mobile devices, desktops, internet connectivity, network issues, printers, and proactive maintenance.
- Install user software and perform routine diagnostics, documenting and resolving technical issues within your scope.
- Assist in troubleshooting Office 365 and third-party applications.
- Educate users on maintaining secure PC environments and best practices.
- Escalate complex issues, such as server and networking problems, after thorough initial troubleshooting.
- Independently research technical issues using internal and external resources.
- Report to the Service Manager on support-related tasks and maintain detailed documentation.
- Collaboratively work with the team to brainstorm and resolve challenging client issues.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.
- Minimum two years in Helpdesk support or a similar role.
- Skilled in application troubleshooting, PC deployments/imaging, and user profile management.
- Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in supporting Office 365, MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
- Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client visits
- A valid driver's license and vehicle that you can use for traveling to and from clients' offices and our offices.
Compensation:
Pay rates start at $60,000 up to $85,000Β and vary by experience and location.
Pay increase depends on acquisition of certificates. Technicians are expected to take the company sponsored certification at least once every six months upon hiring.(Example certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft MCDST or MCP.)
