Position Specific Description

FPLES IT team is seeking a seasoned professional with technical management expertise with building applications relevant to Product based Sales and/or Service departmental processes, Customer Relationship Management, and eCommerce Portals. In the role of a Technology Manager, this person will manage & guide technical implementation teams to execute business specific, data centric solutions to enhance the fast-paced growth of our commercial and residential businesses. The candidate should come with great hands on experience in programming systems/apps for today and future.

Job Tasks:• The Technology Manager collaborates with product experts, business managers & analysts, data scientists and development teams to architect, design, build, and maintain applications that model and enhance the FPLES product lines.• They work across key operational areas, applications, and data sources (external and internal) to identify system patterns, process metrics and deliver specific business outcomes to achieve strategy alignment.• They are responsible for finalizing and getting agreement on the user stories/epics, acceptance criteria, for working with the system architects and developers to clarify implementation timelines, complexity and other project delivery aspects and to ensure that delivery meets the business drivers and acceptance criteria

Essential Skills:• Good understanding of IT systems best practices, Data containment and warehousing, Multi-System collaboration and Integrations (ETL, ESB, API)• Experience programming and leading technical teams in Java Web technologies and Salesforce• Substantial experience in SEO, REST/JSON/OAUTH, XML, SQL • Experience in JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, React, CSS, and automated testing.• Implementation experience of code packaging, continuous integration and delivery processes

Job Overview

This position establishes strategy, develops business plans, and oversees and manages the design, development and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, influence, vision, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals
• Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy
• Oversees value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs
• Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
• Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
• Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
• Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
• Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
• Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
• Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 8+ years
• Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
