IT Test Engineer

Amentum is seeking an IT Test Engineer in Washington, D.C. to lead all aspects of enterprise level Information Technology (IT) testing in support of our premier government Client at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This is a full-time, on-site position.

We are pipelining candidates for a future role.

You have excellent communication, time management, and detail-oriented skills, which you’ll use within the test environment. You will execute all testing activities necessary to successfully support this project, including but not limited to the coordination, execution, and reporting of IT testing. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will be of the utmost importance when briefing the customer and stakeholders on the status of enterprise IT testing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting IT testing operations, such as accessibility, functionality, usability, and Load/Stress testing. 

• Perform on site specific section 508 testing. 

• Support all phases of the test plan, to include, analysis and design, planning and execution, identification and tracking of defects, and test automation. 

• Provides Tier 4 support when required and requested.

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 – $67,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of related experience supporting IT testing

• Experience and knowledge of a broad range of IT technologies, such as, operating systems, hardware, and applications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high paced, high volume Government Client environment

• U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) experience

• Detail-oriented with exceptional customer service skills

• Active Public Trust clearance
