Description of Duties:

• Develop and maintain an inventory of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, including device and license details, location, and owner information.
• Develop and implement guidelines and procedures for the identification, tracking, and management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement a strategy for the secure management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, including regular security assessments and the implementation of security controls as needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations regarding the management and maintenance of IT assets.
• Work with the appropriate PTC resources regarding continual improvement of HAM Pro and SAM Pro, including managing and maintaining the accuracy of the asset inventories, tracking software licenses, and ensuring that hardware and software assets are retired or replaced as necessary.
• Work with the PTC Information Security Officer regarding continual improvement of the Claroty xDome integration with ServiceNow.
• Regularly monitor and report on the status of all IT assets, including identifying areas of risk or potential improvement, and provide recommendations for changes or enhancements to the IT asset management program.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the organization, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to ensure that all IT assets are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Establish and maintain an IT asset management playbook that outlines the guidelines and procedures for the identification, tracking, and management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets.
• Explore and recommend opportunities for maximizing or exploiting unused or partially used IT assets to achieve full efficiency and ROI.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro asset management, and implement best practices as appropriate.
• The IT Asset Manager will be expected to perform these duties with the highest level of quality and accuracy and will be held accountable for delivering all project deliverables within the established timelines.
