Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist specializing in sterile and non-sterile compounding who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will play a key role in delivering customized medication solutions, ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy in a night-shift setting at a full-service 503A mail order pharmacy. Location: Plano, TX (Direct Hire role) Schedule Options: • Shift A: 6:30 PM 2:30 AM • Shift B: 12:30 AM 7:30 AM Key Responsibilities: • Review and verify compounded and non-compounded prescriptions for dosing accuracy and regulatory compliance, taking into account patient-specific factors such as allergies and drug interactions. • Oversee overnight sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to USP standards and proper aseptic technique. • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians for order preparation, verification, packaging, and product release while monitoring inventory to ensure continuous workflow. • Maintain compliance and quality assurance through thorough recordkeeping and performing quality checks aligned with USP, DEA, state, and internal guidelines. • Document clinical interventions, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, provide guidance to pharmacy staff, and respond promptly to urgent requests or emergencies.
