This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding, seeking a direct-hire position with night shifts in a dynamic 503A mail order pharmacy. Location:Irving, TX Schedule: • Shift A: 6:30 PM 2:30 AM • Shift B: 12:30 AM 7:30 AM Position Overview: As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist working overnight shifts, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized healthcare solutions through precise sterile and non-sterile compounding services. This role demands meticulous attention to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and patient safety within an innovative pharmacy setting. Responsibilities: • Review and verify prescriptions (both compounded and non-compounded) for accuracy, dosing, and adherence to 503A and state regulations, carefully considering patient allergies and drug interactions. • Supervise overnight sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring compliance with USP standards and aseptic techniques. • Manage order processing, collaborating with pharmacy technicians to prepare, verify, package, and release compounded medications while maintaining inventory control. • Uphold compliance and quality assurance by maintaining detailed records and conducting regular inspections in line with USP, DEA, and state authorities. • Document clinical interventions, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, provide guidance to staff, and promptly respond to urgent medication orders or emergencies. Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License. • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. • Required experience in sterile compounding compliant with USP standards. Preferred Experience: • Familiarity with USP <797> guidelines and sterile compounding processes. • Experience working with software like LifeFile or PK Software. • Previous exposure to a high-volume pharmacy environment.
