Janitor

Position Summary: Performs the task of Janitor by maintaining organization, safety and preventative maintenance throughout the facility, outside storage areas and entire property. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned · Responsible for general housekeeping throughout the building · Complete task from Janitorial daily Log · Clean all bathrooms and break room · Keep manufacturing floor clean · Empty all trash receptacles · Manage cleaning supplies & consumables · Inspect facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance · Participate in Preventative Maintenance System · Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations · Communicate, support, and reinforce the values of the organization professionally · Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives · Maintain a safe and organized work area · Assist with Fire Prevention and Emergency Action Plan · Hazard Identification and Evaluation · Adhere to company policy & procedures Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: · Drain, dispose & recycle all chips/coolant from chip bins · Process Hazardous waste · Perform building maintenance · Help complete projects such as remodels and machine installation throughout the facility Job Qualification Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: · Strong technical knowledge of all building systems related to Janitorial · Great eye for detail · Forklift Certification Requirements: · Ability to multi-task · Ability to work with minimal supervision · Excellent planning and leadership abilities · Ability to complete task in a timely manner Work Experience: · 1+ years’ experience in Janitorial or facility maintenance. Education: · High School diploma or G.E.D. · Facility Management Degree preferred.
