Janitor

Candidates must be comfortable working in the Skid Row Community Duties - Perform general janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the Property - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors - Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces - Clean windows and glass surfaces - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed - Follow established safety procedures and guidelines Qualifications - Previous experience as a janitor in a Community living setting or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of porter, floor care, facilities maintenance, custodial, and industrial cleaning practices - Familiarity with buffing and other commercial cleaning equipment is a plus - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.90 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Opportunities for advancement • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance • Wellness program People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
