Janitor

Position Summary: The Janitor supports the cleanliness and upkeep of Hart District Management properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff while adhering to company standards. Essential Functions: • Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, and building interiors. • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and handle trash removal. • Assist with cleaning tasks during unit turnovers to ensure readiness. • Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs identified during cleaning. • Replenish supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly. • Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required. • Perform additional cleaning or facility-related tasks as assigned. Key Competencies: • Attention to detail in cleaning and facility maintenance. • Reliability and ability to follow instructions consistently. • Good communication with team members and residents. • Understanding of safety protocols. • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs., perform repetitive movements, and handle cleaning tasks. Work Environment: Work indoors and outdoors as needed, with varying noise levels depending on tasks and equipment.
