Janitor - Maintenance

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial settings. • Carry out custodial duties including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies. • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to uphold safety and cleanliness standards in production areas. • Maintain equipment used for cleaning and ensure it is in good working condition. Skills • Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment used in commercial cleaning environments. • Familiarity with floor care processes including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. • Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks. • Good communication skills to interact positively with team members and facility occupants.
