Janitorial Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor dedicated and experienced to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, including commercial and industrial cleaning, and possess the skills necessary to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.BILINGUAL, SPANISH SPEAKER, Janitorial Supervisor Experience 1 yrs+. Oversee Swing Staff 2pm-10:30pm Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate custodial staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations. • Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention. • Oversee the cleaning of floors, including buffing and floor care maintenance. • Manage custodial supplies inventory and order as necessary. • Implement cleaning schedules for various areas within the facility. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. • Provide training and support to custodial staff on best practices in commercial and industrial cleaning. • Maintain records of cleaning activities, equipment usage, and supply inventory. • Act as a porter when necessary, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment. Experience • Proven experience in custodial services, with a focus on commercial or industrial cleaning environments. • Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is preferred. • Skills in buffing, floor care, and general cleaning techniques are essential. • Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required. • Previous experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
