Job Title: Event Cleaning Worker Location: Thrasher Center – Orange Park, FL Reports To: Supervisor/Manager Position Overview: The Event Cleaning Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at the Thrasher Center following scheduled events. This position is part-time, with work scheduled based on event dates provided in advance. Start times may vary depending on event conclusion, and most cleaning duties will take place in the evening. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility. • Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, counters, and other high-touch areas. • Wipe down tables, chairs, and event surfaces. • Assist with resetting rooms, including arranging tables and chairs as needed. • Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies. • Follow safety guidelines and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor. • Complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe. Qualifications: • Previous custodial or event cleaning experience preferred, but not required. • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules. • Reliable transportation to and from the Thrasher Center. • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Schedule & Compensation: • Work is scheduled around specific event dates (provided in advance). • Evening hours, with varying start times depending on event conclusion. • Compensation: $13.50-$17.25 per hour Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.75 - $16.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
