CROSS Janitor/Maintenance SCHEDULED DAYS/HOURS:Monday–Friday, Business Hours (10 AM – 4 PM) REPORTS TO:Controller STARTING PAY:Based on experience LOCATIONS:San Antonio & Bergheim Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as aJanitor/Light Maintenance Associate. This part-time role (up to 30 hours per week) is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing light upkeep, and supporting general maintenance at two facilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and takes initiative to ensure both locations remain safe, clean, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities Janitorial Duties (Both Locations): • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in assigned areas • Sanitize and restock restrooms and breakrooms • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly • Dust surfaces, clean high-touch areas, and maintain overall tidiness • Wash windows, glass doors, and entryways Light Maintenance Duties (Both Locations): • Handle minor repairs (e.g., replace bulbs, fix hinges, patch small holes) • Assist with setups, furniture moves, or supply arrangements as needed • Perform routine checks of building systems and equipment • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly • Monitor and request supplies as needed Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred • Previous janitorial or light maintenance experience preferred • Ability to travel between both work sites • Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks • Familiarity with cleaning supplies, basic hand tools, and safety procedures • Strong time management and communication skills • Dependable transportation required Work Environment • Duties performed both indoors and outdoors at two facilities • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Company-Wide Expectations • Curiosity:Ask questions and remain open to learning • Integrity:Be honest, accurate, and dependable • Respect:Treat others with consideration • Accountability:Take responsibility and follow through • Humility:Avoid arrogance, remain grounded • Uphold CROSS Core Values at all times • Prevent unsafe or hazardous conditions • Remain adaptable to company growth and changes in projects, locations, or systems CROSS Careers • Can-Do Attitude:Work hard, stay reliable, and approach challenges with integrity and optimism.
