About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Japanese Language Translator and Localization Expert to join our growing international team. This role requires native-level proficiency in Japanese, a deep understanding of Japanese culture, and the ability to translate and localize content for the Japanese market. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that Mixam’s content is accurate, culturally relevant, and resonant with our Japanese audience.

Responsibilities:

• Translate, adapt, and localize Mixam's website content, marketing materials, and social media posts to ensure clarity and cultural relevance for Japanese users.
• Work with the content and marketing teams to maintain a consistent tone and voice that aligns with Mixam's brand.
• Review and edit Japanese content for quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
• Collaborate with teams to implement localization strategies tailored for the Japanese market.
• Provide insights into cultural nuances and market trends that may impact messaging and content effectiveness.
• Analyze content performance and user engagement metrics in Japan to recommend improvements for localization.

Requirements:

• Native-level fluency in Japanese, with excellent grammar, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English for team collaboration and project management.
• Demonstrable experience in translation, localization, and content adaptation for the Japanese market.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing strategies (optional).
• Passion for maintaining a high standard of quality in all translations and localizations.
