Japanese Marketing Specialist

At Purple, we are building a scalable global fintech business from Brno and providing innovative financial products to our customers. Currently, we are seeking a Japanese Marketing Specialist who will join our Global Marketing Team.

Our Marketing team runs global campaigns in the dynamic realm of various financial services. The business generates ideas for new projects, and it is the team's responsibility to bring them to life. Currently, there are ten team members, each contributing their expertise to various aspects of the projects. While some projects are larger and demand the collective effort of the entire team, others are smaller and can be efficiently handled by just one team member.

Purple group is not a large corporation; instead, you can expect a relatively small and flexible team. Team members are based in the Czech Republic, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and Japan. It doesn't matter to us where you'll be working from. However, we prefer someone who can easily meet us online within Central European working hours (approximately 9-17).

In this role, you will help us with various marketing tasks, including researching activities, proactively keeping an eye on our brands, and engaging in brainstorming and creative assignments. The successful candidate for the Japanese Marketing Specialist role should be a Japanese native speaker with experience in the marketing industry and basic knowledge of SEO, GA4, and CMS.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

• Maintain and update our website using a CMS
• Create and distribute engaging newsletters to our target audience, track /manage performance and provide insights to improve future campaigns in cooperation with Emailing Specialist
• Research (competitors, campaign ideas)
• Communication with 3rd party providers
• Collaborate with marketing colleagues to brainstorm and discuss campaign ideas and progress
• Responsible for community management and online reputation (X, etc.)
• Proactively monitor and track online mentions of our brand across various platforms, including social media, news outlets, and review sites and analyze those online reputation trends and provide insights to inform business decisions

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Previous experience in localizing marketing activities to JP
• Japanese (native-level) and English (B2) language proficiency
• Experience working with a CMS (WordPress or similar) to update websites
• An understanding of SEO principles and the ability to optimize content for search engines
• Understanding of social media marketing principles
• Proficiency in using web analytics tools (such as GA4)
• The ability to handle multiple projects
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn new things
• Effective communication skills
• Creative/Innovative
• Knowledge of HTML is a plus
