CCB has had a highly coupled architecture with monolithic applications. Consequently it has been difficult to execute rapid change which reduces our ability to quickly deliver capabilities to our customers who are also increasingly engaging Chase through digital interactions. Decomposition using NBA was conceived to address these challenges.
We are a part of Digital SPS (Shared Profile Services) and you will involved in be decomposing the monolith app into micro services with Modern Engineering Practices and Resilient & Scalable Infrastructure. The micro services are critical to chase.com providing an enhanced end-to-end digital customer experience from logon.
We need developers who have excellent core java, and practiced software engineering skills such as test-driven development and continuous delivery, and want to be part of an agile team with broad impact in a huge highly successful global company. Products owned by the team include the 2000 plus core APIs used by over 70 plus consumers, automated CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, plugins for Maven and IntelliJ to help developers build better APIs, REST standards.
Key technologies used in the teams are Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, Photon, BlueJ, Intellij & Maven Plugin frameworks, OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications, REST standards and the firm's private cloud platforms ( GOS, GKP and GAP ). Java is essential, the rest you can learn on the job.
