Java Backend - Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs.
• Develop, execute, and oversee procedures, policies, and related training plans for project management and infrastructure administration.
• Help grow team on the technical aspect and work closely with team members to unblock on technical implementation blocker.
• Ensure to practice IT at management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation.
• Ability to administer all infrastructure projects efficiently.
• Manage and Maintain DevOps best practices within the organization.
• Work closely with SRE team members and document the Infrastructure/Application troubleshooting guide.
 

Required Skills and Experiences:

• 6+ years of system development experience
• Strong Java skills: Core Java/Java EE, Spring
• Solid understanding of Agile or SCRUM development process and software release processes
• Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.
• Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
• Strong conceptual knowledge of: Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Microservice architecture, DevOps processes, and CI/CD
• Experience with working on frameworks: Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, Webservices (REST)
• SQL & NoSQL experience
• Experience in REST APIs design
