As a Java Data Developer at IMC, you’ll build and administer data workflows in an evolving, modern big data-based environment. This team was created to have true dedicated software engineers in the data space. You'll also be working with our global team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years working with Java and Kotlin
• Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field
• Experience working with SQL and Big Data SQL Query Engines like Dremio or Impala
• Working with data formats like Arrow, Avro and Parquet
• Knowledge of profiling and optimizing (JVM) applications
• Strong knowledge/experience with Kafka and streaming applications
• Experience deploying software with Docker and Kubernetes
