Java Developer

We are Sinch. We are leading global communication Platform (cPaas) provider – the connector between the two through our messaging, voice and video solutions. By year end Sinch will be close to 4000 employees in more than 50 countries with one of our engineering hub at Noida location.

Our APIs and platform deal with over 145 billion engagements annually. Sinch, 2nd largest cPaaS and messaging provider in the world is looking for a Java developers at its India location to help launch a bug free, scalable and innovative products in the market.

The essence of the role

• Our engineering team needs to be filled with new and awesome Java backend developers. We have a modern microservice architecture and the platform hosted on cloud and own data centres using many cloud technologies.
• We are expanding several of our engineering teams, working on cutting edge technologies in cPaaS industry like Google RCS, WhatsApp, Apple business chat, as well as common services such as Data, BI, Identity and access solution.

As our new ROLE you will:

• Be heavily involved in turning user stories into code. This is hands on code design and coding role.
• Work with high availability and high throughput backend services.
• Work in an agile and cross functional team
• Maintain and improve development methodologies and best practice.

Who are you?

Passion for coding in the most important ingredient for success. An ideal candidate would be someone that on top of Java has Spring boot backend experience and has worked with cloud native technologies. We are a bunch of enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy solving complex matters. Team work and communication skills are essential.

As a proficient Java developer you should have:

• Programming Skills Core Java, J2EE (Struts , Web services, SOA, Hibernate, Spring, XML), JSP/Servlet, JavaScript
• Knowledge of J2EE Design Patterns
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture
• Database like MySqlOracle
• Very good analytical skills and communication skills
• Should have experience in Web Server(Tomcat), Application Server(JBoss)
• Knowledge of Unit Testing Framework like JUnit
• Knowledge of project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience : 1-2 Yrs.
• Educational Qualification : B.Tech/B.E./MCA
