Job Description

MANDATORY SKILLS: Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Required Skills:

Strong implementation skills with Java and similar backend technologies.

Some experience with UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, vue.js)

Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) that includes Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance with the Agile Methodology

TS/SCI with is required for this role.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns

Good understanding of Software project management tools (Maven, JIRA, Confluence)

Experience with Kubernetes to deploy, scale, load balance and manage Docker containers is a plus.

Proficiency and comfort working in a dynamic environment
