Java Developer
Job Description
Spatial Front provides IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector.
Summary of Major Job Functions:
The candidate will be a critical member of a team that provides operational support of the infrastructure and all the necessary processes and procedures to support IT Systems and applications. The candidate will be responsible for installing DevOps and software development tasks for critical and core code functionality of the existing web applications and program areas. Other responsibilities include participating in meetings, working groups, design sessions, and technical knowledge shares.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient in coding languages and technologies, e.g. Java, React, AngularJS
- Good programming concept such as OO, API, JEE, Spring framework
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum fundamentals
- A strong desire to understand complex systems and how to troubleshoot and make them highly available
- A collaborative spirit and you enjoy working with a team to build things in an Agile fashion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience in supporting the development innovative Java-centric scalable, secure enterprise custom applications
- 3+ years Hands-on Java development experience, including Java Open Source frameworks and technologies
- Experience using Java, JEE, Java Frameworks (Spring Frameworks, Hibernate), AngularJS, JavaScript, REACT, jQuery, HTML5/CSS

- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder.
- All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
- Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

- The salary for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 annually
