Clearance: Minimum active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI CI Poly   

Location/Flexibility: Remote Flexible with on-site work in the DC Metro area based on program need.  

NT Concepts is seeking a talented Developer to join our team within our Intel Community. You will be responsible for designing and developing APIs using Java in an AWS cloud infrastructure . This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are looking for an individual with a passion for building high-quality, scalable applications and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.  

• Design, develop, and implement APIs and software features using Java and best practices  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code  
• Utilize unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality and functionality  
• Develop and deploy data pipelines using Java or Python and AWS services (e.g., Flask, S3, EC2, Lambda)  
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions  
• Automate data processing tasks and workflows  
• Perform testing with a focus on Information Assurance (IA) 
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues  
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility  
• Stay up-to-date on the latest software development tools and technologies  

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)  
• Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI poly clearance  
• 3+ years of experience as a Java Software Developer, or similar role  
• Experience with Java for API development
• Experience with SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries  
• Experience using AWS cloud services
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab) 
• Familiarity with the ETL process
• Familiarity with Python programming for data manipulation and analysis  
• Familiarity with conducting manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements 
• Familiarity with Information Assurance (Security +)  
• Understanding of Object Based Production
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills  

Preferred Skills:

• Holds a current Security+ CE certification

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
