Job Summary

• Performs back-end implementation of new functionality, programming, bug corrections, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain secure APIs and Database Tables following software development best practices
• Collaborate with Development Lead and Front-end Engineers to design efficient and re-usable Microservices
• Participate with the team on Scrum Events
• Demonstrate in writing robust and reusable codes adhering to software best practices and design patterns
• Research on the latest software libraries by creating POC builds
• Develop API test for back-end services passing code coverage standards Test quality of output before hand over to SIT and UAT
• Problem solving with stakeholders to come up with best approach
• Collaborate in development of bank standards as appropriate
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time 

RequirementsMinimum Requirements:

• Trustworthy, self-motivated, responsive and sharp
• Strong listening, verbal, written and presentation communication skills are essential
• Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• BS Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar course
• 4+ years’ experience in software development
• Experience in agile environment
• Fast learner
• Excellent communications skills (Oral/Written)
• Excellent problem-solving / analytical skills
• Must be knowledgeable to the following programming languages/framework:
  • Java 8+
