Java Engineer

We are looking for you, if you:

• Have very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT and Maven,

• Are not afraid of challenges related to monitoring production system and incident solving,

• Are able to identify problems, analyse key information and propose the best solutions,

• Are a team player,

• Have min. 3 years of experience on similar position or so.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

• Experience in batch file processing solutions,

• Kafka, Docker and S3 storage knowledge,

• IT Service Management knowledge

• Agile and DevOps knowledge,

• Code testing skills.

Your responsibilities:

In this role as Java Dev Engineer you will be part of the Paper&Send DevOps team which is responsible for getting all paper communication to ING clients (currently in NL and BE).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones,

• Assist the Paper&Send squad and related squads in required tasks like collecting logs for investigation, doing checks after changes/patches etc.,

• Fully contribute to improving the Paper&Send squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control etc. are adhered to,

• Attend daily, weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the Paper&Send squad,

• Contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies.
