Java Lead

Position Role/Tile: Java Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC.

Job Description:

• Should have 10 + years of experience using core Java 8 or Java 10 with strong development experience with Spring boot and Spring suite of libraries.
• Candidate MUST have worked in delivering Modern Digital Platforms with practices like Domain Driven Design, API's , Microservices , Event driven architecture, etc
• Should have 10 + years of experience using java /J2EE, Spring boot ,and Spring suite of libraries .
• Should have 5+ years of experience developing , deploying cloud native applications to public cloud or on prem cloud environments.
• Candidate should have experience with Credit Card domain - Card payments , Balance Transfer, Account opening , Card activation , Cahs advance etc.
• Candidate should have worked on Backend integration for Banking domain and should be experienced with organizational complexities around implementing a modern feature working amidst Legacy integrations and dependencies.
• Candidate should should have good understanding of Modern application practices like DDD, API's , Microservices , Event driven architecture - deploying on one of these platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes , Pivotal cloud foundry , Azure AKS - Preferably Azure AKS and PCF.
• Candidate should be able to understand core Business requirements and trace back them to Product features and map them to proper EPICS in JIRA and create technically implementable stories aligning them to Solution architecture documents and Identified technical stack.
• Candidate should be able to closely collaborate with various stake holders, Product owners, Techno functional BA and Technical managers and present them design approaches during the Product backlog review and before committing the epic in backlog.
• Candidate should be act as a liaison between the tech team /Agile scrum team and stake holders and should be able to double click and explain the team on various design approaches and stories and their expected outcomes and should also be able document tech enabler stores in JIRA.
• Candidate should partner and collaborate with enterprise architecture team and other tech owners to gain acceptance on design and architecture approaches considering result oriented and outcome-based business & IT stake holders' expectations.
• Candidate should be enforcing adherence to enterprise tech stack standards by the team and report the status and escalate and communicate issues to ensure target delivery of product is met.
