Developer (JAVA)

Design, develop and manage high performance Java-based applications and software. Would be required to work on Java and database technologies (Oracle PL/SQL).
Job Description

We're looking for someone who:

• Has expertise in writing high quality Java code using java frameworks (Spring, Struts, ets.)
• Has expertise in writing high quality database queries, store procedures and functions to manipulate the database data to desired format (Oracle PLSQL).
• Has ability to write Java APIs to read and load data from source to target database.
• Has expertise in Java / Python, SQL, Shell Scripting etc.
• Writing unit tests and load test scripts.
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Participate along with Technical Lead in application design and create technical documentation like flow diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues like database performance, database capacity, replication, and other data-related issues.
• Optimize process for speed and efficiency, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring the application can handle the volume, velocity, and variety of data.
• Work with clients to deliver scalable and maintainable code.
• Understand the infrastructure requirements needed for the application.
• Work on developing streamlined CI/CD process for application development.
• If the candidate has hands on experience on ETL tools would be an added advantage.

You will need to show us that you can:

• Work closely with business analysts, data scientists and IT teams to understand application requirements and deliver the product that supports business goals.
• Technical support for application, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the continuous availability and reliability.
• Take ownership of code and End to End process from development, testing and deployment.
• Document the requirements of the system and manage its development.
• Be good Team member and support other teams proactively to achieve end result.
