Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be part of a newly established highly motivated and skilled team working on a new IBM product focusing on Data Integration capabilities. Participate in design and development activities perform code reviews and actively contribute to daily team activities (scrum/stand-up meetings progress checkpoints demo sessions) be able to cooperate with different teams and team members across worldwide development organization participate in customer support activities resolving complex issues and providing assistance to our customers.
Applicants should have prior experience with or be able to master the tools and techniques for building deploying operating and supporting large scale hybrid cloud platforms services and applications based on Kubernetes and DevOps practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– at least 3 years of professional experience with Java and/or JavaScript and/or C/C++
– experience with Rest APIs
– experience with Linux shell scripts
– understanding of cloud services and CI/CD processes
– excellent communication and presentation skills
– proficiency in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
– Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
– experience using Java Spring
– modern front-end JavaScript based technologies (React Angular)
– proven experience in large software development projects
– experience with Docker and Kubernetes
– understanding of SaaS and micro services security aspects
– experience with cloud services from AWS Azure and Google
– understanding of Agile/scrum
– ability to work in complex development environment with development teams spread across the world
