Experienced Java Software Developer

As an experienced Java Software Developer at FMH, you will design and code software to support applications that enable America's farmers to clothe, feed, and fuel the world. This specific position supports the customized in-house crop insurance policy maintenance system.

REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Experience: At least 1-5 or more years developing object-oriented, enterprise-level Java applications, preferably using tools/software such as Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, SQL, Oracle, RabbitMQ, and RESTful API. We utilize Agile methodology, so experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
- Education: Associates degree in MIS or Computer Science (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Skills: Excellent communication on a technical and business level; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an experienced Java Software Developer at FMH, you will be responsible for:
- Coding and validating software in accordance with Company requirements, as well as troubleshooting coding issues.
- Attending Scrum meetings to discuss and support the needs of the projects, including technical design and development specifications.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining application and code documentation.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of IT processes and procedures.
- Assisting with coaching, training, and mentoring other developers and team members.
