Job Description As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering on large enterprise wide projects
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Advanced experience building cloud-native applications in JAVA (Springboot)
  • Experience developing REST and SOAP web services using Java
  • Extensive knowledge of J2EE server side technologies: XML, JMS, JAX-WS, CXF
  • Should be well versed in TDD / BDD testing techniques and able to produce comprehensive tests for all developed code using JUnit/PowerMockito (and other mocking frameworks), Cucumber
  • Experience with databases either SQL/Stored procedures on DB2/Oracle, or NO SQL DB like Cassandra or MongoDB
  • Good knowledge scripting and working with Linux/AIX environments
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
