Java Spring Full Stack Developer

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Java Spring Full Stack Developer. 

Who You Are 

Capstone is looking for a highly energetic, positive, collaborative, and talented free-thinking individual to join our team of Developers. As a Full Stack Developer, your role on our team will consist of creating and designing elegant and maintainable solutions to help solve complex problems for our clients. This role requires the ability to research, propose and prototype new principles, cloud and web technologies and concepts and integrate them using common practices. A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience in web development and Java technologies focused on point of sale applications.   

Education & Experience 

• BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 
• Experience in retail Point of Sale business domain. MUST to HAVE!!!

Basic Qualifications 

• Strong hands-on experience 3+ years with Core Java. 
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience with Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot). 
• Angular, Typescript / JavaScript and related frameworks. 
• Must have at least 1+ years of experience designing and developing Micro-services; 
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, data structure, algorithms & complex analysis. 

• Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS preferably PostgreSQL. 
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. Independent business problem solving, and technical design best practice ability is a must-have. 
• Extensive experience in writing and executing JUnit test cases & debugging Spring Framework-based applications 
• Experience in Scrum/Agile development 
• Kubernetes experience 

• Cucumber experience. 
• Gradle build tool experience. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  
• Occasionally explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.  

• Occasionally present your work to internal or external stakeholders. 
• Follow standards for code quality and maintainability, with a focus on extensibility, code reuse, and thorough testing.
