JAVA Test Automation Engineer (Hybrid)

We are looking for JAVA Test Automation Engineers who can take the ownership and proactively drive all aspects of automating UI, E2E and REST API testing.

Required Skills:

• English is must for daily scrum meetings, reporting and documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of JAVA (This is our main tool).
• Min. 2 years of experience in JAVA test automation.
• Recent hands-on experience in REST API testing and test automation.
• Recent hands-on experience in front-end test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Gatling and others.
• Extensive working knowledge of relational databases, strong SQL skills. 
• Strong knowledge of Linux and command line shell scripting.
• Good understanding of QA Testing Methodologies, test planning, system dependencies and product integration phases.
• Good understanding of Agile Methodology.
• Strong Teamwork and communication skills.

QA Key Objectives:

• QA process to align with the 2 weeks sprint process followed by development – Agile methodology.
• Preparation of test strategy and test plans.
• Preparation of test scenarios for the automation activities, test cases written using behavior driven development.
• Functional QA: To write and execute 100% of testcases within same sprint.
• Automation QA: To develop, execute and run all tests as part of CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify defects, report them clearly in related tools and track them to completion.
• Report metrics precisely each week (maintained as part of Teams).
• Developing and implementing framework libraries to support test automation scripts and validating execution reliability.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of JavaScript and Python.
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol, Websocket.
