Java/AWS Software Engineer
Job Description
An ideal candidate will:
- Collaborate with a diversified high-performing multi-location team
- Design technical solutions to business requirements
- Follow and promote agile methodologies, especially scrum/Kanban
- Have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies/practice
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science/related technical degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience developing applications for Pubic Cloud: AWS
- Strong infrastructure knowledge required including Unix, Windows, networking, and scripting
- Experience with orchestration tools like Jenkins CI/CD, or Jules
- Experience following source control best practices: Git/bitbucket
- Experience with database development (SQL / Oracle)
- Understanding of architecture and design across distributed systems
- Experience writing and executing test cases (Unit Testing & End to End)
Strongly Preferred:
- Knowledge of Angular 6+ and ES2015+
- Full Stack Development (MVC/MVVM)
- Knowledge of Spring
- MyBatis/JDBC technologies
- Experience using Pivotal Cloud Foundry a plus
- Understanding of Product Management a plus
- Experience with data visualization software a plus
- Understanding of SRE concepts a plus
