Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled JD Edwards Techno Functional Analyst for one of our clients.

Position: JD Edwards Techno Functional Analyst
Location: Accokeek, MD (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary/Objective:

• The objective of the JD Edwards Techno Functional Distribution Analyst is to provide end-user application support in the distribution area through an established ticketing system concentrating on the incidents and problem resolution. The Analyst will also plan and coordinate JD Edwards activities and projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide support and assist users with JDE application issues as recorded and routed through the help desk application.
• Provide technical support for Supply Chain Management through the following JD Edwards Modules: Sales Order Management, Warehouse, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Forecasting. Also provides technical and functional analysis for each area, make the appropriate recommendations, communicate thoroughly, and execute in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between the functional distribution areas and IT by communicating verbally with end users in gathering user requirements, walking users through designed solutions and providing support to meet business needs.
• Work with users in gathering requirements and understanding the overall needs of enhancements or change/support requests.
• Ability to write functional specifications for custom JDE objects, work with developers and technical consultants on custom object development and unit testing.
• Provide functional and technical development experience
• Lead or participate in Projects, from small enhancement up to implementation and upgrades. Project Management (Ref. Body of Knowledge PMI, Agile).
• Follow departmental guidelines, policies.

Other Job Functions:

• Work with outside contractors/consultants as required.
• Training users, prepare documentation, user instruction, I.T. procedures as needed.
• Lead and participate in integration projects between JDE and other third-party applications.
• Others, as assigned.

Qualifications/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a Project team environment.
• Assess needs and formulate solutions through the use of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other third-party applications.
• Ability to travel (20%)

Experience/Education:

Required:

• Min. 6-10 years of functional experience with JDE E1 (9.x) Distribution Module.
• Leadership of or participation to JDE implementation and/or upgrade projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with distribution-related applications (data collection, manifest systems, RFID, etc.)
• Ability to act as PM for large Corporate Projects

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• PMP Certified
• Experience with SQL
