Title: JIRA Administrator
Location: San Jose OR New York OR Seattle (Onsite)
Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000
We are looking for an expert in Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence, who also possesses robust Linux system administration skills. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our digital infrastructure is both efficient and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Atlassian Management: 

  • Administer and optimize Jira for workflow efficiency and issue tracking.

  • Maintain and enhance our Confluence platform to serve as a comprehensive knowledge base.

• Advanced Plugin Utilization: 

  • Implement and manage advanced plugins like ScriptRunner to automate processes and enhance functionality within Jira.

• Linux System Administration: 

  • Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of our Linux-based servers hosting Atlassian applications.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards on Linux systems.

• Integration and Automation: 

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Jira, Confluence, and other enterprise tools to streamline operations.

• Support and Training: 

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, enhancing their proficiency with Atlassian tools.

• Performance Optimization: 

  • Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of both Atlassian applications and Linux systems.

• Documentation: 

  • Maintain detailed documentation for all systems and processes under your purview.

• Innovation and Improvement: 

  • Continuously seek ways to improve system functionality and user experience through new plugins or custom solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 

  • Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence administration, including advanced plugin management like ScriptRunner.

  • Proficient in Linux system administration, with experience in server maintenance, security, and performance tuning.

• Technical Skills: 

  • Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Groovy, Python, and Bash.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.

• Problem-Solving: 

  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance.

• Communication: 

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications: 

  • Certifications in Atlassian tools or Linux administration are highly desirable
