About the position:

NOV is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Jira Senior Systems Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. We are a team of development experts that work closely together to build advanced solutions and solve problems. Will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and documenting business and solution requirements and the related processes. Responsibilities will include project administration of Jira Server and Jira Data Center projects, planning and managing Insight asset configuration and maintenance of asset records, and configuring automation using Jira workflow post-functions, project and global automation.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze current business requirements or issues, to determine the appropriate Jira project configuration, automation, or issue resolution
• Troubleshoot Jira project and issues using project logs, plugin logs, audit history, system l ogs, and other diagnostic tools
• Develop an understanding of company business processes, software, and applications to assist with developing more effective solutions and to build projects based on the requirements and needs of the business.
• Training users on the use and best practices for Jira, and Jira plug-ins.
• Assists with Jira software project and service desk project planning and configuration.
• Assist with configuring workflows, workflow conditions, triggers and webhooks, post-functions, workflow pre-conditions, screens, all schemes, issue types, request types, custom fields, field configurations, permissions, access roles, service desk automation, queues, SLAs, filters, and dashboards, sprints, and all other aspects of Jira projects.
• Configuring filters, dashboards, rich filters, Kanban/Scrum boards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required - 3 or more years of work experience with administrating Jira projects.
• Open to remote work option.
• Strong experience with configuring dashboards
• Strong knowledge and ability to write custom queries with Jira Query Language (JQL)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technology
