Journey Architect, Digital Self Service
Job Description
Databricks' success depends on building trust and engagement with an ever-growing audience of data scientists, analysts, and data engineers. We're building our Self-service team to grow adoption of data engineering, data science, machine learning, and deep learning technologies. These include popular open-source projects such as Delta Lake, MLFlow and Koalas.
We're looking for a technical journey architect with growth and go-to-market experience. If you have built for customer engagement and growth this opportunity will be exciting for you. Day in a life:
- Technical expertise:
- You'd build user segmentation through data analyses and informing predictive models.
- You'll establish yourself as a technical leader, lead discussions to influence the product roadmap.
- What you'll build
- Self-serve experiences that span the customer lifecycle in and out of product.
- Partner as part of our Growth team to create the roadmap and build product or experiment requirements.
- Measurements to assess growth, improve time to value and accelerate usage.
- Experience and product design specs, UX prototypes, and related metrics.
- Journey orchestration:
- Grow awareness and engagement of Data Engineering (Delta Lake), Machine Learning and Deep Learning capabilities (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, Koalas), and Machine Learning Lifecycle.
- We work on some of the most complex distributed processing systems and our customers challenge us with interesting new requirements. As this complexity grows, you'd help simplify the customer experience.
- Cross-group relationships
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Enablement teams to integrate community, learning, and product content.
- Partner with Data Science, Product Managers (PMs), Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), and Field Engineering to personalize user experiences.
What we look for:
- Minimum 6 years of experience working in technical roles (in Product, Growth, Field Engineering, Customer Success, consulting, or related discipline). You will report into Field Engineering.
- Experience at a SaaS company or cloud architectures such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, R or Data Analytics tools.
- Experience with databases and data warehousing and working with large-scale data processing services (Hadoop)
- Background in machine learning or working with ML tools and services.
- Remote role with some travel involved. #LI-Remote
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
