Journeyman Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on diverse projects.
Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
• Execute heavy lifting and handling of materials as required for project completion.
• Engage in masonry work and concrete forming as needed for structural integrity.
• Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and healthy environments.
• Assist with electrical installations related to carpentry projects.
• Install cabinets and other custom woodwork with precision and attention to detail.
• Fabricate components as per project specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements.
• Apply plaster and caulking techniques to achieve smooth finishes on surfaces.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate project needs clearly.

• Acoustical Ceilings - start to finish reading blue prints
• Tile
• Painting
Skills
• Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and safe material handling practices.
• Strong background in masonry, concrete forming, and mold remediation methods.
• Knowledgeable in basic electrical work relevant to carpentry tasks.
• Expertise in cabinet installation, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to fabricate various wood components according to design specifications.
• Skilled in plastering techniques for seamless surface finishes.
• Proficient in caulking applications for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

You will need to be able to self perform if you cannot complete these task solo do not apply.
This is a W9 job meaning you will be responsible for your own taxes.
You will need to provide your own vehicle and tools to complete the jobs.
We will provide gas expenses when receipts are provided.
This job will have some nights and some Days. The majority will be nights. 10p-8a
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.82 - $25.22 per hour
Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
