Journeyman Commercial Electrician/ Installer

Job Summary Two immediate opening for journeyman commercial electricians that are willing to travel, includes per-diam, travel pay and hotel We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician service installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the service field and construction sites and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks. • Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. • Renovate existing electrical systems as required by project specifications. Requirements ** Must have a minimum of Six years Commercial Electrical installation experience • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role in a construction environment. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. • Familiarity with using voltmeters, ohmmeters, power tools, and other relevant equipment. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work on construction sites. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Certification or licensure as an electrician is preferred but not mandatory. • A maintenance person background is a plus for additional versatility in tasks.
