Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including both commercial and residential projects. This role involves working on construction sites, renovating existing structures, and ensuring all electrical systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for interpreting schematics, working with various voltage levels, and utilizing power tools effectively. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Work with both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems as required. • Renovate existing electrical installations to meet current codes and standards. • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety regulations. • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to electrical work. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or necessary upgrades. • Frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations. Skills • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to electrical installations. • Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential. • Strong knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Experience using power tools safely and effectively is required.
