Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician We are looking to hire commercial construction electricians with commercial experience. This is a long term position working on commercial projects located in Arizona and Texas. Most of our field employees are getting 50 to 60 hours per week and paid per diem. These roles require: • Current Journeyman Electrician License • Valid Driver's License All hand tools required to perform job Job ResponsibilitiesTest electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibilityDocument actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situationRepair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devicesDetermine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints and mapsMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisorUse ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes, on roadside poles and in commercial propertiesAnswer emergency calls quickly, assess the safety of the situation upon first arriving at the scene and provide directions to individuals affected by the electrical emergency to ensure their continued safety and comfortMaintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor Job Skills & QualificationsCompleted electrician apprenticeshipProficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codesAbility to read blueprintsPersonalized pay cards for convenience of our Field Employees to receive their weekly pay.OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Training with the option of obtaining an OSHA 30 Hour Course. 35-39/hr + Per diem Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Compensation Package: • Bonus opportunities Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: On the road
