Journeyman Electrician

Job Title:Journeyman Electrician Location:Austin, TX Pay:$41/hour Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some weekends as needed) Type:Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experiencedJourneyman Electricianto join our team inAustin, TX. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems incommercial environmentsin accordance with local and national codes. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics • Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical devices • Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues • Ensure all installations are compliant with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components • Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards • Coordinate with other trades and supervisors to ensure timely project completion • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Requirements: • Active Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) • Valid OSHA Certification • Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical experience • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts as needed • Proficient with tools and equipment commonly used in the trade • Must have own basic hand tools and reliable transportation • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently or in a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Work Location: In person
