Job description

HIRING IMMEDIATELY! School Districts/Military/Public Works! Assemble and install electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Troubleshoot systems using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to electrical switches or outlets. Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Ability to direct, manage and organize required services to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within budget to meet job site deadlines Maintain communication with office staff and contractor regarding schedules, scope changes, back charges, materials and labor management Maintain safe work conditions for self and others Exceptional personal and communication skills *Qualifications: *Maintain current State of California Electrician Certificate *Maintain Valid Journeyman License *MUST HOLD VALID JOURNEYMAN LICENSE Understanding of electricals codes and installation methods Minimum four years’ experience working as an electrician Have reliable transportation Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, construction drawings, procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
