Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring that installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform heavy lifting as required for installation and maintenance tasks. • Operate various tools and equipment safely, including welding equipment when necessary. • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and handymen to complete projects efficiently. • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. • Assemble plumbing fixtures, fittings, and piping according to specifications. Experience • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing installations and repairs. • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory. • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Previous experience in related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services is beneficial.
