Journeyman Test Resource Acquisition Manager - 38072

Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries is looking for a Journeyman Test Resource Acquisition Manager to support the F-22 Program Office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Must have SECRET Clearance and SAP eligable.

Required support shall include:

• Knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing.
• Works independently and applies the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
• Support development of reporting material and Commander's/ Director's Action Group processes including, but not limited to:

• Monthly Acquisition Reports (MARs)
• Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES)
• Selected Acquisition Reports
• Section 804 Reports
• Senior Officer Communication and Coordination Electronic Resource activities.

• Provide program knowledge for developing and coordinating responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries.
• Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, and staff coordination.
• Knowledge of components and relationships of Weapon System Prime Contractor development, operation, weapons, and live fire tests IAW AFI 99-103
• Interface with Weapon System Prime Contractor and Subcontractor, laboratory, headquarters, test, and user communities to provide support for strategic test resource planning
• Provide program management support for F-22 Test Resource activities, to include,:
  • System end of life migration
  • Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System integration
  • Joint Simulated Environment
  • F-22 training systems
• Provide support for aircraft disposition as required.
• Support for efforts:
  • Test and evaluation strategy development
  • Weapon System Prime Contractor RFPs
  • Proposal evaluation
  • Contract negotiations
  • Contractual oversight

• Secret/SAP Clearance Required

• Minimum Required Education and/or Experience:
  • BA/BS with ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD, or
  • Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the functionally aligned job descriptions, five of which must be in the DoD
