Jr Accountant

The Jr. Accountant will provide support to the reconciliation process that is in charge by Costa Rica Core Accounting team, such as, prepaid process, fixed assets process, bank reconciliations and others.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and reconciling Prepaid Accounts (review the GL, download invoices, and determine if it’s a prepaid or not and)
• Responsible to create new assets on the module, make disposals, master date changes, transfers, and others.
• Post journal entries for the monthly amortization’s invoices and fixed assets adjustments.
• Support the bank reconciliation process.
• Support internal and external audit request, as needed.
• Assist with special projects

Main requirements:

• 1 year of progressive finance and accounting experience (as a plus)
• Studying Associate’s Degree in Finance and Accounting (as a plus)
• Intermediate English level is required (B1+)
• Demonstrates initiative to follow up on pending issues and organize assigned work.
• Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals.
• Strong Organizational and analytical skills, soft skills.
• Knowledge of Excel is required
• Oracle (as a plus)
